In one of our recently featured articles we spoke a little bit about private label products. In this article, we are going to focus on the Top 10 Private Label Personal Care and Cosmetics Products to Sell. Without further ado, let’s get started!
1. Sunscreen
Sunscreen is a Great Private Label Product
The biggest advantage private label sunscreen has over national brands of sunscreens is that they tend to be sold at unbeatable prices! Additionally, popularity of a certain private label of sunscreen is often associated with that sunscreens name and brand having a good name. The positive association people have with a specific private labels product and brand name tends to help assure others to buy and use that product.
2. Eyeshadow
Like sunscreen, there are a lot of different private label eyeshadow brands. Additionally, a lot of these eyeshadow brands have been rated as some of the greatest brands of eyeshadow of all time. A lot of these eyeshadow brands have creamy textures, bold pigmentation, and or a wide shade range which are just some of the reasons why these brands of eyeshadow have become so popular.
More so, like other private label brands, most private label brands of eyeshadow do a great job at giving you great quality eyeshadow for an unbeatable price. In fact, most eyeshadows from drugstores, when sold in palettes, can cost less than $20.
3. Blush
Try Private Label Blush For Quality and Value
Another great private label product, blush has one of the longest shelf lives of any makeup. In most cases, blush can be used for up to a year. Even if the pigment in a private label brand of blush isn’t the absolute strongest, it can be layered to give you the amount of color you’re looking for. Private label blush is also available at a great price – it tends to only cost around $5-$7.
4. Lipstick
While there might be some differences in quality between private label and more national brands of lipstick, this is only usually true if there is a significant price difference between the two types of lipsticks. For example, if a private label brand of lipstick costs $5 and a more national one costs between $15-$30, the general assumption is, at least for lipstick, that the more expensive brand is going to be of a superior quality. However, there are some great private label brands of lipsticks out there and they include some of the following:
Boots No.7: Lipstick gloss hybrid which can be applied lightly and with sheer. Gives the wearer a pretty wash off color with a little bit of shine. Doesn’t require a steady hand and therefore, can be applied without a mirror.
Wet n’ Wild: Great for warm weather and comes complete with built-in sun protection.
Some people may tell you that due to its dependency on brush type and pigment, designer brands may be preferable to private label ones. Mascara is one of those things that has a similar formula regardless of the brand. Private label brands however, tend to be more commonly available and at better prices. If you can get a similar product for a better price, why wouldn’t you go for the private label brands of mascara? It’s a no-brainer, folks!

8. Toner
The main function of this product has been described as something that completely cleanses your skin. It has the ability to remove dust, pollution, and impurities that have a tendency to linger and cause damage. Some store bought toners can be made completely free of alcohol but may include some other possible harmful ingredients like benzophenones, a sunscreen agent which tends to only be harmful if it is able to penetrate the top level of the skin. Many private label toners may include ingredients that may contain more toxicity than other ones. However, when searching for great makeup removers, even at your local drugstore, it’s important to carefully read through the ingredients of the makeup remover before purchasing. You should stay far away from a number of ingredients in these formulas, such as formaldehyde-releasing chemicals that are typically used as preservatives in the makeup in the same way as a standard makeup wipe.
Other ingredients to watch out for to make sure the makeup remover doesn’t use include 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1,3-Diol a chemical which releases extremely low levels of formaldehyde.

However, you need to be careful that these products do not contain too many sulfates, parabens, or potentially toxic ingredients. Stay safe and stay innovative!
